Sold out for the year! I should have more babies in the spring/summer of 2024.

European green lizards (Lacerta viridis) are fairly uncommon in United States herpetoculture but they are an excellent species to keep and breed. They are much smaller than the more common jeweled lacerta making them more manageable to keep. They also do well in groups of one male and several females. All adults are a beautiful emerald green and males sport a bright blue head in the breeding season! Just like their larger cousins, the jeweled lacerta, they are intelligent, active, and bold. With time and attention they will become hand tame. A truly wonderful species to keep if you want something as intelligent as a monitor but at a fraction of the space requirements.
