I am letting go of some of the wild caught ones that I received nearly a year ago. I purchased a large number to build up my breeding group and I have too many at this point. These are long term established wild caught animals. They are healthy and have been eating well but they are still wild caught animals with some aesthetic imperfections such as nose abrasions or tail nips. These things do not affect their health or ability to breed.
Toad headed agama (Phrynocephalus mystaceus galli) are some of the most bizarre and interesting lizards on the planet. When threatened they have mouth flaps which they can dramatically extend when opening their mouth. When they do this they look similar to the movie monster "Predator". They are a socially interacive species and they wave their tails around like a flag to communicate with each other. As adults they are also incredibly bold and exhibit no fear of the keeper. All of this together makes them one of the most fun species to keep. I am one of the few people in the USA consistently breeding them and I am dedicated to furthering them in herpetoculture.
